February 8 Prayer and Bible Verse

Bible Verse: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” – Matthew 6:33

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for the gift of life and for the grace that carries me each day. Thank You for Your love that never fails and for Your mercy that is new every morning. Lord, I acknowledge that without You, I can do nothing, but with You, all things are possible.

Father, I ask for the grace to seek You above all else. Help me to put You first in my thoughts, my actions, and my desires. Let my heart long for You more than the things of this world. Fill me with a hunger for Your Word, a passion for Your presence, and a desire to live according to Your will.

Lord, I surrender my worries and burdens to You. I lay before You every fear, every doubt, and every struggle that weighs me down. Your Word says that when I seek You first, all other things will be added to me. I choose to trust in Your timing, Your plan, and Your promises. Give me the patience to wait on You and the faith to walk in obedience even when I do not understand.

Father, I pray for wisdom in all my decisions. Let Your Holy Spirit be my guide in everything I do today. Help me to speak words that bring life, to show kindness to those around me, and to reflect Your love in my actions. Strengthen me to resist temptation and to stand firm in righteousness. Let my life be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.

Lord, I ask for Your peace to guard my heart and mind. In a world full of distractions and anxieties, let Your peace keep me steady. Remind me that You are in control and that I do not have to fear the future. Help me to rest in Your presence, knowing that You are always with me.

Father, I lift up my loved ones to You. Cover them with Your protection and fill their hearts with Your joy. Meet their needs and draw them closer to You. May we all grow in faith and in love, walking together in unity as Your children.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayer. I trust that You are working in my life, even in ways I cannot see. Today, I choose to seek You first, to trust in Your goodness, and to walk in the path You have set before me.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Reflection: Take a moment to ask yourself: Am I truly seeking God first in my life? What areas do I need to surrender to Him? Spend some time in His presence, allowing Him to speak to your heart and guide you in His truth.

Daily Declaration: Today, I choose to seek God first. I will trust in His plan, walk in His wisdom, and rest in His peace. My life is in His hands, and I will follow where He leads.

May your day be filled with God’s grace and joy. Stay blessed!
