Church Growth is an important matter especially for pastors and ministers. While it does not necessarily answer to prayers alone, we can pray for church growth and trust God to help us with wisdom to handle other aspects of church growth. Let’s see what these prayers for church growth are.
Prayers for Spiritual Growth in the Church
Prayer Points:
- Pray for members to grow in their relationship with Christ (2 Peter 3:18):
Lord, help every member of our church grow closer to You. Teach us to understand Your Word better and to trust You in every situation. Let us become more like Jesus in how we think, act, and love others. - Ask for a deeper hunger for God’s Word in the congregation (Psalm 119:105):
Father, give us a burning desire to read and study Your Word daily. Let Your Word be our guide and light in everything we do. Help us to live according to Your teachings. - Pray for spiritual discernment and wisdom for church leaders (James 1:5):
Lord, grant our leaders wisdom to make the right decisions. Let them hear Your voice clearly and follow Your guidance. Protect them from confusion and lead them by Your Spirit. - Intercede for an increase in faith among members (Romans 10:17):
God, increase our faith as we hear and believe Your Word. Help us trust You more in good and bad times. Let our faith inspire others to believe in You, too.
